Independent walking arrives between 9 and 17 months. As long as your child is cruising, pulling to stand, and weight-bearing, isolated late walking is usually a variation of normal.

Can my baby ride forward-facing now?

No. Current AAP guidance is rear-facing as long as possible, typically until age 2 and ideally until the convertible seat’s rear-facing limit.
