Our Medical Panel

The ChildBloom Pediatric Panel

Every recommendation on ChildBloom is reviewed by a team of practicing, board-certified pediatricians — not by affiliates, sponsored lists, or algorithms.

Meet the Panel

ChildBloom’s pediatric panel includes clinicians from academics, neonatology, emergency medicine, and frontline outpatient practice. Each brings real-world experience to every product they review.

How Our Review Process Works

Every product guide on ChildBloom goes through the same four-step review process. No product is recommended unless it passes all four steps.

1 — Safety Screen

Every product is checked against CPSC recall databases, AAP safety guidelines, and current regulatory standards before anything else is considered.

2 — Clinical Review

A panel pediatrician reviews the product’s design, materials, and intended use against evidence-based pediatric standards. Safety comes first — always.

3 — Real-Family Testing

Products are used in real homes by real families. We note what breaks, what’s fussy to clean, what parents actually reach for at 2 a.m.

4 — Editorial Independence

Our affiliate relationships never influence rankings. If a product is unsafe or overhyped, we say so — regardless of commission rates.

“The question I hear most in the exam room isn’t about medicine — it’s about gear: ‘Doctor, which stroller/carrier/crib should I buy?’ That’s exactly why ChildBloom exists.”

— Dr. Michael Anderson, MD  |  Head of Site, ChildBloom Pediatric Panel
