The process

How a ChildBloom guide gets approved

01

Standard check

The product or claim is measured against the standard that governs it — AAP, CPSC, JPMA or ASTM.

02

Evidence review

Clinical guidance, recall history and published research are read in full and cited inline.

03

Physician edit

A board-certified pediatrician edits the clinical language and cuts anything unsupported.

04

Dated sign-off

The reviewer’s name and review date are printed on the guide. Re-checked at least every six months.

Editorial independence

What our reviewers will not do.

  1. No reviewer is paid by a brand featured on ChildBloom, in any form.

  2. No product enters a ranking because of an affiliate rate. Rankings are evidence-first.

  3. Unsafe products are excluded outright, regardless of popularity or price.

  4. Nothing on this site replaces an examination by your own child’s physician.

We take clinical accuracy seriously. If a guide looks out of date or conflicts with current guidance, tell us and a reviewer will look at it.
